Combining Skincare Actives Safely: What Not to Mix in One Routine

Actives – jaise vitamin C, retinol, acids (AHA/BHA), niacinamide – skincare ka “advanced level” lagte hain. Problem tab hoti hai jab sab ek hi raat face pe daal diya jata hai, hope ke saath ki glow double ho jayega. Usually result – irritation double.

Kuch combos generally careful use demand karte hain. High-strength acids + retinol ek hi routine me bohot logo ke liye too much ho sakta hai—redness, peeling, burning ki full chance. Vitamin C ke kuch forms ka low pH hota hai, jo strong acids ke saath over-exfoliation jaisa effect create kar sakte hain.

Easy approach: AM–PM split. Morning me vitamin C + sunscreen, shaam me retinol. Acids week me 1–3 baar raat ko, retinol-free days pe. Niacinamide relatively gentle and flexible hai, wo zyada combos ke saath tolerate ho jata hai, but phir bhi slow introduction better hai.

New product add karte waqt 2–3 hafte me ek hi naya active introduce karo, taki tum samajh sako kis cheez se reaction ho raha hai. Everything-at-once strategy se jab face red ho jata hai, culprit guess karna mushkil ban jaata hai.

Active use karne se pehle basic barrier strong hona chahiye—cleanser + moisturiser + sunscreen routine set ho. Warna powerful ingredients bhi skin ko help karne ki jagah irritate hi zyada karenge.
