Sheher ka polluted hawa sirf lungs ko nahi, skin ko bhi hit karti hai. Dust, smoke, tiny particles pores me settle ho jaate hain, jisse dullness, blackheads, irritation, even premature ageing speed up ho sakta hai.
Pollution skin barrier ko weak karta hai – natural oils aur moisture layer disturb ho jaati hai. Result? Dry–tight feel, ya opposite, oily–clogged feel, redness, itching. Agar already acne, rosacea, ya sensitivity hai to problem aur noticeable ho sakti hai.
Daily protection ke liye sabse pehle gentle cleansing. Raat ko proper face wash, jo makeup, sunscreen, pollution mix sab hata de. Over–cleansing ya harsh foaming se barrier aur toot jaata hai, to mild, pH-balanced cleanser better choice hota hai.
Antioxidant-based products (like vitamin C, niacinamide) free-radical damage se fight karne me help kar sakte hain. Light moisturiser se barrier support, phir sunscreen se UV + pollution combo damage kam ho sakta hai.
Outdoor time pe physical barriers—cap, scarf, sunglasses—bhi useful hain. Ghar aake agar turant wash nahi kar sakte, to at least face pe plain water splash karo; sweat + dust ka mix jitna kam time rahe, utna acha.
Pollution completely control nahi kar sakte, lekin daily small habits se skin ko kaafi had tak shield zaroor kar sakte ho.
